I grew up in Canton, Ohio. Since everyone always seems to ask “where?”: IN the city proper, about a half-mile from the Pro Football Hall of Fame, but on the opposite side of the interstate.
I would be a chameleon because they can just conveniently fade into the background and avoid notice.
My preferred super power is teleportation—I really would love to save on all that travel time...
My current favorite vacation spot is Pawley’s Island, South Carolina, but really anywhere there’s an ocean and a beach to walk.
It is impossible to pick a single favorite, but among the many: Mansfield Park, As I Lay Dying, the Harry Potter series, One Hundred Years of Solitude, The Divine Comedy, Anne of Green Gables, The Last Battle.
I would love to visit Scotland and the Shetland Islands.
The current non-work activities include reading, knitting, pottery, and photography. If I could find more free hours in the day, there would be more… my world is too many interests, too little time.
There are times I’d feel content to eat just tortellini at every meal.
Architectural excellence to me means quality of the entire product: of design, of drawings, of detailing, of service.
Deadlines require fast, loud pop and rock, usually from my continuously evolving “Killin’ It” playlist. This currently includes Welshly Arms, Barns Courtney, and Dorothy, among many others.
